As you might know it’s possible to roll back an ESXi “image” to a previous version. For example you’re updated a ESXi host with a newer version of ESXi and for some reason the host is not running correctly, it’s possible to re-install the host or to roll back the ESXi image to a previous version that’s stored on the alternate boot bank of the SD/USB/HDD disk. Today I was testing out running virtualized ESX hosts on my home lab :). For some reason I can’t vMotion a running VM from my (physical) ESX cluster to my virtual ESX cluster, it just hangs at 10% witch normally indicates that there might be a network issues.
